Broadcast Technology

The Hub’s Director of Production, Fausto Pighin, spends a portion of his time overseas in senior broadcast management roles at major sporting events including the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Swimming World Championships, FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2004 and FIFA Confederations Cup. It is through these events that Fausto has gained extensive, hands-on experience with the complex technology required to flawlessly broadcast large sporting events to lounge rooms around the world. Fausto is providing The Hub with great exporting opportunities and in 2006 was involved in one of the most important sports telecasts in history, Germany’s FIFA World Cup; it broke new ground by being totally produced and broadcast in high definition television (HDTV). These experiences ensures The Hub remains at the forefront of technology in the production industry.
